I wish I had known about Polybalm before I had started my chemo treatment. All of my fingernails have been affected and eventually will have to grow out or possibly fall off. Since using Polybalm, my fingers feel a lot better and the nail beds are looking really good. I plan on informing my Oncologist and my Nurses about this product so they can tell patients that are starting out on a certain kind of chemo treatment, to use this product. That way, they will not have to go through the problems that I am going through.
Dealing with Cancer is hard enough, I wish the cost of Polybalm was not so expensive.

I have tried everything, chemo trashed me but the infections in my toes and the weakness of my nails are humbling! Polybalm you are a God send. I carry you everywhere, I share you with everyone I know, whether on chemo or not. This product is life giving, when you are at your worst or your best! I have people in my church purchasing Poly Balm and gifting it to Cancer Patients. It should become a standard of care, and should be prescribed directly from Oncologists, Podiatrists and Physical Therapists, Nurse Practitioners. Because Polybalm is made with 100% natural ingredients, carefully manufactured in the UK, and produced to the highest standards—along with tariffs and rising costs—it is an expensive product for us to make. We never want to compromise on quality, especially when people depend on it to help repair and protect their nails when it’s needed most.

Accessibility remains a core part of our mission. Our long-term goal is to have Polybalm covered by insurance so it can be more affordable for patients. While that is a longer process, it is something we are actively working toward.

I am really glad I found this. I’m just starting TCHP treatment and doing what I can to avoid some side effects. This would be so much better in a jar or pot like the Tatcha primer or other beauty balms, with a little spatula to dispense it with that can be stored in the lid. The tubes are just really frustrating to work with. No amount of warming it in my hands or pockets really makes it easier to get the product out. I also don’t like putting an applicator directly on my skin/nails that is then stored in contact with the product. Great product, packaging needs a re-think.

About the tube design - Polybalm’s current tube was chosen very intentionally — primarily to meet medical hygiene standards and to support portability and controlled dosing for patients in treatment. That said, we fully acknowledge that the balm’s 100% natural incredients which includes beeswax which can be firm especially in cool weather, and for some users (especially early in treatment when sensitivity is high), dispensing from a tube can feel frustrating.

Your feedback around:
* preferring a jar or pot format,
* wanting a spatula stored in the lid, and
* avoiding direct contact between applicator and product
* is incredibly well-articulated — and it mirrors conversations we’re actively having internally.

Where this is going (and why your input matters). Based on feedback like yours, we are actively evaluating alternative future packaging options, including:
* Jar-style formats
* Dual-format offerings
* Improved dispensing solutions that preserve hygiene and ease of use

Your note about premium beauty balms (like Tatcha) is especially helpful — it reinforces that patients deserve both clinical performance and a comforting, elevated experience.

A tip that may help right now - Until we introduce new packaging, many customers find it helpful to:
* In cool temperatures, warm Polybalm to 'body temperature' before use by place in warm water for 60-90 seconds or until you feel the balm is easy to apply to your nails and cuticles 2-3 times per day.
